This wonderful and old savoury cabbage has fine, curled leaves. They are like a soft wavy sheet. Because of this, it is no wonder that they are the choice leaves for traditional healing methods using cabbage compresses. They also add a great texture to all your cabbage recipes.
Sow in early May to early June into seedling trays. Transplant out into the field in early June to early July at a distance of 40 ✕ 40 cm in compost-rich soil. Harvest from October onward. With light winterizing, the harvest can be prolonged until spring.
